Barcelona Inhabited Bridge

An inhabited bridge spatially connecting different neighborhoods, allowing people to move from a future linear park across the river Besòs with wide pedestrian and cycle tracks. The bridge serves as a public realm where people from different communities socialize through multiple public functions — open-air plazas, cultural center, museum. A green layer underneath works as a carpet connecting landscapes and buildings.
